Police searching for Northeast Spokane shooting suspect
26-year old Joseph Bercier is considered armed and dangerous.
SPOKANE, Wash. - Police are searching for a suspect after a shooting in the E. 900 block of Illinois sent one man to the hospital Saturday afternoon.
Police say around 4:30 p.m. a white car pulled up in front of the victim's home. The victim came outside and an argument began between the victim and the people in the car.
One of the men in the car pulled out a gun and began shooting, hitting the victim once in the arm and hitting a car he was hiding near.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with a non-life threatening wound.
With information from witnesses at the scene police were able to come up with a complete license plate number and description of the suspect vehicle, which they sound located in the N. 2700 block of Pines.
Detectives arrested 28-year old William M. Trevino for First-Degree Robbery and Attempted First-Degree Homicide.
Police are still searching for 26-year old Joseph Bercier. Authorities consider Bercier armed and dangerous, and say he should not be confronted. Anyone who sees Bercier is asked to immediately call 911.
