SPOKANE, Wash. - A $5000 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest of a robber who stole drugs from a North Division pharmacy last Saturday, and possibly a Rite Aid in June.

Police say around midnight Saturday July, 26, a white male walked into the Rite-Aid Pharmacy at 5520 North Division, and demanded oxycontin.

Through his actions the suspect convinced the victim that he had a gun. The suspect took more that 500 pills valued on the street at more than $1000.00.

The suspect, who used heavy make-up to alter his appearance, ran out of the store.

Detectives think the suspect is the same person who robbed the Rite-Aid on June 4, 2008 just after midnight. Authorities say the physcial descriptions are the same, as was the suspect's behavior and demeanor during both robberies.

The suspect is described as a white male, thin build, possibly 160 pounds, around 6-feet tall.
During the latest robbery the suspect was wearing a dark stocking cap pulled low on his forehead, a dark navy long sleeve shirt with dark pants, possible workout clothing.

Citizens are urged to call 242-TIPS with any information.
