Jurors watch videos Duncan made with kidnapped children

BOISE, Idaho - Jurors took a first look Friday at photos and videos found on convicted killer Joseph Duncan's laptop and microdrive.

The photographs appeared innocent for the most part, showing Dylan and Shasta at a campsite playing together, and playing on a laptop in the back of a jeep.

In the first video titled "Watermelon Video," Duncan and the children could be seen cutting and eating watermelon. As the kids joked with each other Duncan refered to them as "boy" and "girl" and not by their names.

In a second video Duncan could be seen joking with the children again at a campsite. At one point, he joked that the kids had actually kidnapped him.

In a nearby campfire, what looked like wishlists could be seen burning. Duncan commented that his wish was for forgiveness. Shasta wished that she could go home and Dylan wished for a sports car.

Earlier in the day an Idaho State Police detective read a letter written by Duncan to his mother, in which the convicted killer blamed society for feeding the evil in his heart.
