Obama's wife speaks at DNC

DENVER, Colo. - Expressing her love for the country, Michelle Obama has spoken at the Democratic National Convention.

Obama used the address to delegates and the nation to reassure the nation that she and her husband, Barack, share their bedrock values and belief in the American dream.

Obama said she and the presumptive Democratic nominee will "fight for the world as it should be" to ensure a better future for their daughters and all children.

The Obama's two daughters, Sasha and Malia, joined their mother on stage after the speech as Steve Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely" blared from in the convention hall.

The girls spoke to their father, who appeared briefly on screen by satellite from Kansas City.
