GSL Live on KHQ.com

Posted:

KHQ-TV is proud to announce a unique partnership with the Greater Spokane League. You can hear Friday Night Football on KHQ.com this fall with live "enhanced" play-by-play audio of the GSL football "Game of the Week."

This weekly event will be unlike any prep sports broadcast in the Inland Northwest, highlighting the marquee match-up between two GSL opponents.  Veteran prep sports radio announcer and voice of Women's Gonzaga Basketball, KHQ's Steve Mykelbust, will host the GSL "Game of the Week".

If you or someone you know would like to catch the GSL Game of the Week, just log onto KHQ.com on gameday and click on the "live stream" link.  The games can also be accessed on the GSL page on KHQ.com, and get an all access pass to GSL scores, schedules, and stats.  Web surfers can get there just by clicking on the "sports" tab on KHQ.com, or directly by typing www.khq.com/gsl into a web browser.

If you can't catch the live broadcast, or just want to go back and listen to it again-and-again, the "Game of the Week" will remain on KHQ.com for six days.

The first four Greater Spokane League games to be webcast on KHQ.com are:

  • September 5th, Mt Spokane vs. Mead at 8:00pm
  • September 12th, Mead vs. Lewis and Clark at 7:00pm
  • September 19th, Central Valley vs. Lewis and Clark at 7:00pm
  • September 26th, Ferris vs. Mt. Spokane at 7:00pm
  • October 2nd , Rogers vs. Gonzaga Prep at 7:15 p.m.
  • October 10th, Shadle Park at Ferris at 5:30 p.m.

Following the first four games KHQ-TV and the GSL will follow a "flex" schedule, guaranteeing the "Game of the Week" will feature the best match-up the GSL has to offer that week.

KHQ-TV is proud to partner with Arby's and Rockwood clinic for the GSL "Game of the Week" on KHQ.com.
