SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Shock announced Friday that Head Coach Adam Shackleford has agreed to a two-year contract extension that will run through the 2010 season.
"It's the right decision for my family and it's the best decision for my career," Shackleford said. "I feel like we have really started on something here and we can continue to build on it in the years to come."
Since Shackleford became the Shock's Head Coach in 2007, he has won two division titles, and a conference title with a 30-7 overall record.
"Coach Shackleford has done an unbelievable job here and has continued to build on what we started in 2006," General Manager Adam Nebeker said. "We're thrilled that he will be here through the 2010 season."
