Welcome to October and the dozens of new people who signed up at the Senior Wellness Conference to receive Senior Life Notes. We're excited to have you as part of the community.
We make a commitment each month to bring you news and information about topics that interest you. This month we have something special from one of our partners.
Rockwood Retirement Community's have done a survey to find out how they can better serve potential clients. If you choose to fill out the survey then your name will go into a random drawing for an Evening of Elegance at Rockwood for you and nine of your friends. If you would like more details about this event or would like to fill out the survey, click here. A winner will be chosen in December.
Another Senior Life partner, Spokane Elder Law Attorneys, Dick and Karen Sayre, are spending some time this month addressing "How to Become a Person's Guardian". If you have found yourself in that situation and want more information just click Legal Resources to see Karen and Dick's explanation in the video player or for a detailed article about this subject click "How to Become a Person's Guardian".

If you have not had a chance to get out and take a walk or a drive, now is the time. The leaves are starting to change and it is beautiful. There is also a definite chill in the air. So before we wrap up this note we want to mention a link on KHQ.com to some Fantastic Fall Recipes -- including buttermilk - sage fried chicken, and some "comfort veggies". Enjoy.
Finally, before we go, congratulations to Evie and Tom McCarty, Dorothy Gray, and Ernest Schutte. They won a $25.00 gift certificate to Golden Corral. A random drawing was done from everyone who signed up for the Senior Life News Notes at this year's Senior Wellness Conference.
Have a wonderful month. Be sure to check out the Senior Life Page often for new articles. We will write to you again in November.
