Toddler receives minor injuries after running into a moving vehicle
SPOKANE, Wash. - Police say a two-year old boy was very lucky to only receive minor injuries after running into the side of a moving vehicle in downtown Spokane.
Police say the boy got away from his mother while she was putting an infant into her vehicle near Riverside Ave. and Wall St. Monday afternoon. The boy ran out into traffic on Riverside and ran into the side of a moving vehicle. The force knocked the boy backwards into the side of his mother's vehicle. Police say they are not sure, but the vehicle may have run over the boy also.
Police tell us the boy only received cuts and scrapes and all injuries appear to be minor.
