SPOKANE, Wash. - The Gonzaga Bulldogs on Thursday confirmed another big-time recruit has committed to play in Spokane. Mangisto "Manny" Arop, a Sudan native, signed with the Zags.
Arop, pronounced, "rop", was born in the Sudan but currently lives in Hamilton, Ontario where he plays basketball for Canada's junior national team. He left Sudan when he was 9-years-old to live in Kenya. After that his family moved to Saskatchewan and later, Alberta.
