Zags dominate Montana State-Billings

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Gonzaga Bulldogs men's basketball team showed just how good they are Saturday, beating Montana State-Billings 83 - 52 after being up only five points at the half.

The Zags tipped off their season against Montana State-Billings on KHQ-TV Saturday afternoon.
Jeremy Pargo finds Josh Heytvelt more than once who throws it down on the break. Heytvelt had a huge 15 points, as did Austin Daye, and at one point brought the Zags to a 19-point lead, but the Yellow Jackets would come roaring back. Michael Hall doing a lot of the work with three of his game-high 24 points, as they cut the lead to five at the break.
The Zags turned it on in the second half. Micah Downs puts one away off the feed from Demetri Goodson, then off the turnover, it's Austin Daye going all the way for the jam.  Fifteen points and twelve rebounds wraps up the sophomore's night and the Zag's season opener.
