DEER PARK, Wash. - Two fatal vehicle accidents occurred Friday afternoon near Spokane. The Spokane County Sheriff's Office reported a double fatal vehicle accident at N. Short and W. Bridges about 2.5 miles north of Deer Park.
Green was driving Richards' 1988 Volkswagen Fox when it was struck by a Dodge Ram pickup driven by 39-year-old Mark W. Robinson of Valley, Washington.  The crash occurred about 3:45 p.m. on Short Road just south of Bridges.

Robinson was arrested after the crash and booked into the Spokane County Jail on two counts of Vehicular Homicide.  Investigators said alcohol and prescription medications may have played a role in the crash.
