Car Check List: Make sure your car is running properly before you begin your travels. You will want to make sure your tires have enough air in them, that all your car fluids are filled, and that your lights are working properly. Here is a check list of things to check before you begin your holiday traveling:

Travel Item List: When traveling over the holiday season, it is important that you have the proper emergency travel items in your car, in case weather conditions pose a threat or change drastically. Things like extra food and water and warm clothes and blankets will ensure your health. Also, road flairs, snow chains, first aid kits and flashlights are good items to pack. Make sure you have extra cash, in case you have to walk to the nearest gas station. A bag of sand or cat litter can help your traction if you get stuck in the snow. Also a shovel and ice scrapers can help you in unfavorable conditions.
