SPOKANE, Wash. - Shadle Park did something Friday night it hadn't done in a long time.  The Highlanders beat Ferris 66-59, ending Ferris' 59-game winning streak.

Shadle (3-0) trailed the Saxons (1-1) 39-26 at halftime.  And then something happened.  Anthony Brown, who had just one point during the first and second period, blew up for 13 points.  As a team, they finished the game with a 13-4 run to put the game out of reach for Ferris.

Connor Halliday, who gave the Shadle defense fits through the whole game, led all scorers with 18.  Sixth man Justin Stewart scored 14.

For Shadle, Luke Jordan led the Highlanders in scoring with 14, followed by Brown.  Taylor Petterson scored 10.

Shadle's next game is against unbeaten Gonzaga Prep next Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.  Viewers can listen to a webcast of tghat game on KHQ.com.
