CV topples Pirates, LC girls beat East Valley

BOYS

Shadle 66, Ferris 59
Anthony Brown erupted for 13 of his 14 points in the second half, helping the Shadle Highlanders beat Ferris 66-59.  The Highlanders ended the Saxons 59-game winning streak.

Central Valley 75, Rogers 65

Central Valley earned its first win over the season, beating the Rogers Pirates 75-65 at Rogers High School. 

Michael Williams led the Bears in scoring with 16.  Evander Cobbs and Brad Whitley combined for another 28. 

Jesse Vaugh, who continues to impress teams around the league, led all scorers with 20.  The win sets the Pirates up for an important matchup next Tueday against Ferris.


GIRLS

Lewis & Clark 61, East Valley 32

Lewis and Clark beat East Valley 61-32 at home Friday night, giving the Knights their first loss of the season.  Haley Hendrickson scored 10 for the Tigers, and Sarah Kliewer had 8 points and 9 rebounds.   

Alicia Christiansen scored 10 points for East Valley.
