SPOKANE, Wash. - Ferris didn't let a little thing like losing their first contest in 60 games ruin the holiday fun on Monday night. The Saxons, who lost to Shadle last Friday, bounced back by beating Lewis and Clark 62-50 Monday on the South Hill.
But getting the win was a little easier said than done.
The Tigers led by two points going into the 4th period, but Ferris refused to be outdone. The tipping point was when junior guard Jason Bates hit a 3-point shot from the corner, giving Ferris a seven point lead. He ended the game with 17 points.
The Saxons went on a wild 22-8 run in the final minutes of the game, sealing the 62-50 win.
Ferris goes on the road to play Rogers Tuesday night. Lewis and Clark's next game is Friday at Central Valley.
