Viewer writes poem about snow storm of December '08

'Twas the week before Christmas, and all through the town
The snow started falling, and covering the ground;
George Maupin felt bad, as he delivered our fate,
There was nothing he could do, about the storm of '08;

The snow just kept coming, and then it was blowing,
And then it was time for the trucks to start towing;
As records were broke, and snow shovels too,
We realized there was nothing that anyone could do;

When out of our houses we emerged like a flash,
We cleared up our sidewalks,
Tyler made some cash;
Channel 6 kept us informed of the new fallen snow,
And warned us to "please, please stay at home";

When all of a sudden the snowstorm got worse,
And KHQ was reporting it first;
With Shelly and Dave and Stephanie and Dan,
We new they would help with a surefire plan;

More rapid than snowflakes the reporters they came,
And we hollered, and shouted, and called them by name;
"Now, Dana!  Now, Jade! Now, Cindi! Now, Leslie!
On, Owsley! On Durian! On Gomes, McGinty!
With Brian and Julie and Jennifer too,
We new we were in good hands with KHQ;
You could hear Q6's team as they drove out of sight,
"Stay tuned to Q6, we'll be back late tonight!"
