Gonzaga Prep's Long commits to play at Washington State
SPOKANE, Wash. - One of the GSL's finest has committed to play football on the Palouse for the Cougars.
Travis Long, a 6'5", 244 lb. defensive end at Gonzaga Prep committed to Washington State University. He's expected to remain on the defensive side of the ball, even though Scout.com ranks him as the 39th best tight end prospect in the nation.
Washington State has now landed six of Washington's top 11 ranked prospects for the class of 2009.
Long also plays basketball at Prep and averages just over 8 points per game.
