Power play goals lift Chiefs to victory over Chilliwack
SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs scored four power play goals in its defeat of visiting Chilliwack Wednesday night at Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena.
Tyler Johnson scored once, and Mitch Wahl had a goal in his first game back since playing for the United States in the World Junior Hockey Championship. The Chiefs were without Dustin Tokarski, as he is spending time with family in Saskatchewan after winning the gold medal for team Canada.
Spokane outshot Chilliwack 28-18 and finished the night 4-5 on the power play.
The Chiefs return to the ice Saturday night at home against the Everett Silvertips.
