    In May of 2005 the Groene family of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho was changed forever. Joseph E. Duncan III brutally murdered Shasta and Dylan Groene's family and subsequently abducted and molested the two children over a period of six week. Shasta was seen several weeks later at a Denny's restaurant in Coeur d'Alene in the company of Joseph Duncan. Police were contacted and Duncan was then taken into custody. Duncan is on death row in federal prison.>>

ADA COUNTY, Idaho. - Convicted killer Joseph Duncan has been moved from the Ada County jail to the United States Penitentiary in Terre Haute, Indiana. The high security facility houses male inmates and contains the Special Confinement Unit for inmates serving Federal death sentences.

Duncan was given three death sentences and three life terms for the 2005 kidnapping, sexual abuse and torture of two north Idaho children and the murder of one of them.

He was also given six life terms in state court for bludgeoning to death the children's older brother, mother and her fiance at their Coeur d'Alene home.

    Spokane, Wash. Starting July 1st, 2018 all standard Washington State ID cards will be marked with "Federal Limits Apply" on the top right corner. The driver's license is still good for driving and standard identification but those three words indicate that the ID is not valid for federal identification purposes. The ID cannot be used to board a plane or enter federal buildings starting October 1st, 2020. The real id act is a federal law, which was passed by congress in 2005...

    Idaho State Police arrested a man for felony DUI and possession of methamphetamine after responding to an injury crash Saturday morning. The rollover crash happened around 10 a.m. on US-95 near Kathleen Ave. in Coeur d'Alene, with authorities tweeting out a picture of the rollover crash.
