Chiefs beat Everett 5-1, notch sixth straight victory

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs are on a roll.  They won their sixth consecutive game Wednesday by beating Everett 5-1 in Everett.

Spokane's first goal came just 4:33 into the game when Brady Calla's scored on a power play set up by Ondrej Roman and Stephen Ulmer. 

Everett scored at 15:55 on a power play goal by Dale Hunt.  Spokane would take command in the third period with two goals - one at 8:54 by Ulmer and another at 15:36 by Tyler Johnson, who short handed into an empty net for his 13th goal of the year.

Goaltender James Reid had 27 saves in his second straight win over Everett. 

The Chiefs will finish off their 4 game road swing through the U.S. Division when they face the Seattle Thunderbirds for the first time in the T-Birds new home in Kent Friday night at 7:30pm.
