SPOKANE, Wash. - The Gonzaga women started off slowly but finished strong, beating the Pepperdine Waves 66-43 in Spokane Thursday night.

It took the Bulldogs nearly 4 minutes to score their first field goal, but once they did they never looked back.  Lewis & Clark graduate Heather Bowman scored a game-high 18 points on 8-of-10 shooting, while freshman Kelly Bowen added 13.

The Zags improve to 4-0 in conference play, 16-4 overall.  Their next game is Saturday at home against Loyola Marymount (13-5, 3-1).
