Be sure to wear something red on Friday. That is the day that symbolizes the energy, passion and power women have to wipe out heart disease.
Millions of women across the country will participate by wearing something red. In Spokane, the Go Red Luncheon on Wednesday, February 11th, will bring together hundreds of women together for lunch, inspirational stories and educational breakout sessions.
The keynote speaker will be Diana Nyad. Diana is a world-class athlete. She was inducted into the National Women's Hall of Fame for her history making 102.5 mile swim from the island of Bimini to Florida.
