SPOKANE, Wash. - The Gonzaga Bulldogs are hoping to get back on track, playing Saint Mary's Thursday night after being crushed by No. 8 Memphis last week.

The No. 19 Zags will face a Gaels team that is still without their star guard, Patty Mills.  Mills broke a hand against Gonzaga when the two teams played in Spokane last month.

Players for Gonzaga are well aware Saint Mary's needs a win, and that alone should make Thursday's battle a tough one.

"The road is hard to play anywhere.  It's hard to get wins, especially big wins.  So we need to make sure we do the right things so we get a big gap in our conference," said Zag forward Austin Daye.

Coach Mark Few added that it's do or die time for Saint Mary's.

"This is probably their last chance to stay in the league hunt.  If they can get us down there, they can stay in the race.  And if we can get this weekend, then we're in great shape," said Few.

Tipoff for Thursday's game is 8 p.m. on ESPN 2.

Meanwhile, the Gonzaga women's team will play in Spokane Thursday night.  Their game against Saint Mary's can be seen live on SWX (Digital 6-2, Comcast 115) at 6 p.m.
