EVERETT, Wash. - Spokane Chiefs defenseman Michael Reddington had a career high 3 point night, helping his team beat the Everett Silvertips 5-2 Wednesday night.
Mitch Wahl gave the Chiefs a quick 1-0- lead with a backhand goal just 28 second into the game. It was his 25th score of the year, and was set up by Levko Koper and Reddington.
Justin McCrae gave the Chiefs a 2-0 lead on a power play goal at 7:32.
The score went to 3-1 when Drayson Bowman scored on an assist from Ondrej Roman and Reddington with 8.7 left in the second. Reddington made the score 4-2 in the third, followed by a fifth goal from Roman at 10:51.
The Chiefs turned away 7 of 8 Everett power plays, as Dustin Tokarski had 35 saves in his 25th win of the season.
Spokane stays on the road, playing Portland Friday night at 7:30.
