SPOKANE, Wash. - After escaping Thursday night with a win over Lewis and Clark, the Gonzaga Prep Bullpups are preparing for a regional matchup with the No. 4 team from the Columbia Big Nine in the regional playoffs.

Prep did just enough to beat a strong Lewis and Clark team 57-55 at home on Thursday, sending the Tigers into a game with Ferris to determine the second and final berth into regionals.  David Stockton scored 18 for the Bullpups, and Parker Kelly added 12.

Austin Ehlo scored a team-high 16 for the Tigers, including four 3-pointers.  But in the end neither he nor any of his fellow teammates could contain a Prep team with just 2 losses on the season.

Gonzaga Prep will play the No. 4 team from the Big Nine on Tuesday night.  Seeding in that league will be determined Friday and Saturday nights.

Ferris 53, Mead 44
Ferris' Taylor Kamitomo returned from an injury and helped boost his team to a 53-44 win over Mead to keep their post-season dreams alive.  He scored a team-high 18 points.  Riley Stockton added 12.  The Saxons move on to play Lewis and Clark Friday  night to determine the second and final seed to the Regional tournament.
