Olympia store guard accused of coercing girls into exposing themselves

OLYMPIA, Wash. - A man working as a security guard at a J.C. Penny store in Olympia is accused of coercing two teenage shoplifting suspects into exposing their breasts.

The Olympian reports the 17- and 18-year-old girls say he told them he wouldn't call police if they took off their clothes.

The 35-year-old man, Michael Anthony Olivas, was arrested Tuesday at work at the Capital Mall. A Thurston County Superior

Court judge ordered him held Wednesday for investigation of unlawful imprisonment with sexual motivation.

The girls say they were held for more than two hours Feb. 22 after they were accused of shoplifting.

Olivas says the girls exposed themselves voluntarily to get out of trouble.

"It was a happy day," said Paul's aunt Georgine Glatt.
