Joe McHale joined the KHQ news team in December 2015. Joe is a California native, but comes to Spokane by way of Nebraska. While in Lincoln, Joe worked at KOLN, where he was a crime reporter and fill-in anchor. Joe also covered state politics, damaging tornado events, and the Huskers (Go Big Red). Read more

Leslie Lowe began her career in radio before transitioning in to television in 2003. She joined the KHQ news team in December of 2008, just in time to kick off the snowiest winter on record for Spokane. Leslie is the lead forecaster for KHQ, and joined Spokane's number one morning show in September 2013. Read more

Matt Rogers joined the KHQ news team in 1997. He is a 1996 graduate of Central Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications. His first TV job was at a CBS affiliate in Boise, Idaho, where Matt was a news photojournalist. Read more

Peter T. Maxwell Jr. joined the KHQ news team in 2017 as a reporter. He grew up in the Detroit suburb of Grosse Pointe Farms. Peter discovered his love for news at a young age and knew he wanted to become a television news reporter. Read more

Sam Adams is the director of sports at KHQ-TV and has helped launch SWX, the region’s first and only all-sports and weather channel Since its infancy, SWX has expanded its programming to numerous live sporting events and a nightly half-hour sports show, "SWX Tonight." Read more
