Joe McHale joined the KHQ news team in December 2015. Joe is a California native, but comes to Spokane by way of Nebraska. While in Lincoln, Joe worked at KOLN, where he was a crime reporter and fill-in anchor. Joe also covered state politics, damaging tornado events, and the Huskers (Go Big Red). Read more

Peter T. Maxwell Jr. joined the KHQ news team in 2017 as a reporter. He grew up in the Detroit suburb of Grosse Pointe Farms. Peter discovered his love for news at a young age and knew he wanted to become a television news reporter. Read more

Sam Adams is the director of sports at KHQ-TV and has helped launch SWX, the region’s first and only all-sports and weather channel Since its infancy, SWX has expanded its programming to numerous live sporting events and a nightly half-hour sports show, "SWX Tonight." Read more

Sean is an emmy award winning anchor/reporter for KHQ Local News.  Also a recipient of the Edward R. Murrow award as part of the KHQ team. Sean started at KHQ in 1993 after graduating with a degree in Broadcast Journalism from EWU.  Read more

Stephanie started her career in Sacramento, California at KOVR Channel 13. She moved to Spokane in 1997, when she became KHQ’s morning anchor alongside Dan Kleckner. Read more

Sydnee Stelle joined the KHQ team as a Weather Forecaster in February of 2019 and is excited to be back in her hometown! Born and raised in Spokane, Sydnee attended Central Valley High School before going off to Arizona State for college. Read more
