"Howdy folks! Kevin Kim, checking in..."
Kevin has been a reporter with the KHQ news team since 2018. Prior to joining KHQ, Kevin was an anchor/reporter, producer, and digital producer at KOMU-TV, the NBC-affiliate in Mid-Missouri.
During his time in Columbia, Kevin covered the resignation of Missouri Governor Eric Greitens (including the court proceedings leading up to the resignation), the Table Rock Lake duck boat tragedy, and Mizzou football and men's basketball. He also won a Hearst Award (2017-2018) for broadcast news.
Kevin graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Convergence Journalism. (M-I-Z!) He grew up in Southern California, moving from West Los Angeles to Hacienda Heights, where he graduated from Glen A. Wilson High School.
When he's not working, Kevin is probably watching basketball, listening to music (or a podcast), or eating.
