MISSOULA, Mont. - High winds caused a massive pine tree to come crashing down on top of a Missoula home Saturday morning.
According to ABC FOX Montana, the family awoke to a large thud at about 4 a.m. when the tree fell on their house.
Neighbors say no one was hurt and the tree mostly took out the front porch. However, a giant hole was left behind.
Crews with the National Weather Service in Missoula said gusts at the time the tree fell were registering at 31 miles per hour at the airport. Winds in town were suspected to have been even stronger.
