IDAHO - During the 100 Deadliest Days, the time between Memorial Day and Labor Day, preliminary data from the Idaho Transportation Department's Office says 92 people died in traffic crashed on Idaho roads.
Of the total 92 deaths, 72 were automobiles. Of the 72 automobile deaths, 31 people were not wearing seat belts.
Last year, 88 people were killed in Idaho during the same time frame, which was more than 40% of the entire year's fatalities. In 2019, 92 people died during the summer.
