Brazen burglar steals two guitars from Spokane man while he was home

A Spokane man has lost his sense of security after his home was burglarized while he was still there.

David Potter, 52, says he was in his room at a South Hill apartment the night of September 23rd when two of his guitars were stolen.

"I'm constantly looking over my shoulder, double checking everything, making sure everything is locked up and you know, having nightmares at night," said Potter. I'm getting up walking around checking things out. Any little noise I'm just hypersensitive about everything."

Potter says he did not hear anyone in his apartment the night the two guitars were stolen but says he noticed they were gone the following morning.

The Spokane Police Department is investigating but is asking for the public's help. If you know anything about where the guitars pictured may be, call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
