Kootenai County Sheriff's Office pulls body of Spokane woman out of Lake Coeur d'Alene; Death ruled as 'suspicious'

The Kootenai County Sheriff's say they believe the body of a Spokane woman found in Lake Coeur d'Alene in November was likely dumped there.

The body of 27-year-old Kimberly Vezina was found in the Fullers Bay area at the south end of the lake late last year. Lieutenant Stu Miller with the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office said the cause of Veniza's death has been determined to be from "combined drug toxicity." Lt. Miller said his department believes Vezina died in Washington and her body was then taken to Idaho and dumped in the lake.
