Kootenai County Sheriff's Office pulls body of Spokane woman out of Lake Coeur d'Alene; Death ruled as 'suspicious'

On Monday, the Kootenai County Sheriff's office was called to the Fullers Bay area at the south end of Lake Coeur d'Alene for a report of a body floating in the water.

The dive team and detectives responded and found the body of a young woman floating near the surface. They removed the body and after an autopsy, identified her as 27-year-old Kimberly Sue Vezina of Spokane.

Detectives say Vezina's death is suspicious and they are asking anyone who may have had contact with her to contact either Sgt. Ken Lallatin at 208-446-1337, or Detective Darrell Oyler at 208-446-1339.
