Lewis and Clark High School is hosting a social media safety class for parents Wednesday night.

Organizers say Washington State Patrol detective Dan McDonald will lead the presentation. McDonald will explain the warning signs of online predators, demonstrate how to use popular social media apps and cover how to change security and privacy settings.

The class will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15 in the Lewis and Clark High School auditorium.
