SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane County Medical Examiner has released the name of the woman found dead in a home north of Spokane.
34-year-old Kimberly Schmidt was found dead in a home in the 100 block of E. Regina Sunday night. The primary cause of death is listed as a gunshot wound to the head.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday and details regarding the victim's identity and her demise will be released afterward. A family member found the 34-year-old female Sunday and called an acquaintance who then called 911 about 2:45 p.m.
SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. - Spokane County Sheriff's detectives are investigating what they are calling a "suspicious death" at a house north of Spokane.
Police arrived at a house in the 100 block of East Regina off of Highway 395.
