Moscow home suffers significant damage after fire

No one was injured but a home was badly damaged after a fire in Moscow Thursday.

Firefighters responded to the home in the 300 block of East A Street at approximately 4:30 pm. The fire was cleared by 9:30 pm. The residents were able to evacuate without injury and are staying with family.

The fire flared again in the early morning hours of Saturday, which required additional response.

It is suspected that the fire originated in the chimney of the two-story home and spread into the attic.
