One person sent to hospital with life-threatening injuries after road rage chase through Spokane

Spokane Police are investigating what they're calling a road rage chase that sent three people to the hospital Wednesday night.

It started around 9:00 p.m. Tuesday near Napa St by SpokAnimal as a possible domestic dispute between people who know each other.

Officers say two cars were driving at a high rate of speed and were crashing into each other. At one point those two cars worked their way down 2nd Ave and crashed into two uninvolved cars at 2nd and Perry. One of the drivers of an uninvolved car was sent to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

The two involved cars continued on and crashed into each other again at 2nd and Sheridan. One car hit a power pole, rolled and crashed into a wall. Two people in that car were sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries including broken bones.

The other car involved drove off but police later found it and the driver in North Spokane. No word on charges yet. The case is still under investigation.
