SPOKANE, Wash. - The City Of Spokane is one step closer to an Otto Zehm memorial.
Monday afternoon the City Park Board met to discuss its policy regarding the Zehm memorial and naming parks and facilities. Right now they are talking about possible locations, and it appears they have zeroed in on Mission Park. They also discussed what the memorial will consist of, which is most likely a plaque.
The next step is meeting with the Logan Neighborhood, and discussing the exact wording of the plaque.
A final proposal is expected sometime in August.
