PREPARE FOR WINTER: Coeur d'Alene Police offer FREE Winter Driving Classes

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - Coeur d'Alene Police are offering Winter Driving Classes to prepare drivers for the impending snow.

Classes will be offered:

  • Saturday, October 28th at 9am
  • Wednesday, November 1st at 6pm
  • Saturday, November 4th at 9am
  • Tuesday, November 7th at 6pm
  • Wednesday, November 15th at 6pm
  • Thursday, November 16th at 6pm

Whether you are new to winter driving or just need a refresher on what to do when the roads turn icy, this class is for you. Instructors will go over driving in the snow, avoiding crashes, staying safe in the event of a crash, and what to do if you become stranded.

There is no cost to attend and the first 30 people registered for each class will receive a free ice scrapper courtesy of Les Schwab Tires. Also, an attendee from each class will be randomly selected to win an Emergency Roadside Kit (also provided by Les Schwab).
