SPOKANE, Wash. - If you see the flags at half-staff today and are unsure what has happened, you should know President Biden ordered them lowered as a mark of respect following the passing of Senator Robert Dole.

Elizabeth Dole announced this morning that her husband had passed early in the morning Dec. 5th in his sleep. He was 98-years-old.

The flags will be lowered until Dec. 9th at sunset.
