A young puppy is safely recovering in a foster home. A stark contrast to how his day started out. Someone dumped the puppy inside a plastic tub with the lid on along I-90 in Spokane County.
They aren't sure how long he had been in there.
Fortunately, a truck driver spotted him, pulled over and rescued the little dog named Charley.
She brought him to SCRAPS and they cleaned him up. The shelter says because he was sitting in his own waste, they need to make sure he's healthy. After a few weeks in his foster home, if his foster family doesn't keep him, he'll be up for adoption.
If you have any idea who abandoned Charley, please give SCRAPS a call at 509-477-2532 during normal business hours.
