TUCSON, AZ - A high school basketball referee in Arizona is out of a job accused of asking a coach if his players had their green cards.
The alleged incident happened Tuesday in Tucson.
The ref reportedly asked the question to the coach of the Pueblo High School freshman basketball team.
The referee was fired Wednesday.
The same day, Pueblo's principal spoke with the basketball team before practice and said he was proud of the way they acted saying they showed character.
