A rescue mission to evacuate 12 boys and their soccer coach trapped deep inside a flooded cave in northern Thailand is underway.
It's a race against time. Concerns over rising water lead officials to move quicker than anticipated to stage a rescue. They've been trapped inside the cave for two weeks. The boys are between 11 and 16-years-old and their coach is 25.
The group became stranded when they went exploring in the cave after practice.
Monsoon flooding had initially cut off an escape path for the team and prevented rescuers from finding them for about 10 days.
