Southwest Airlines offering "skimpy" fares

DALLAS, Texas. - Southwest Airlines is converting the flap over booting a scantily clad passenger into a marketing ploy.

It's offering passenger Kyla Ebbert two free round-trip tickets and is offering sale fares of $49 to $109 each way for 10 days.

Ebbert says she was on a Southwest plane ready to take off from San Diego, when an airline employee asked her to change her attire or get off the plane.

In a compromise, Ebbert was allowed to stay on the flight after tugging down her skirt a bit and inching up her top.

Airline chief Gary Kelly says Southwest doesn't have a dress code and doesn't want its employees put in the role of fashion police.
