SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -- Spokane County Sheriff's Office confirm that one person is dead after an apparent argument turned into a shooting at the Ramada on Sullivan in the Spokane Valley.
Police say that several callers reported hearing gunshots followed by screaming coming from the parking area near the pool.
When deputies arrived, they found a man unresponsive and not breathing. Police secured the scene and Spokane Valley Fire personnel began administering medical aid. Unfortunately the man died at the scene.
Major Crimes Detectives and Forensic Unit Technicians are investigating the shooting. No suspect has been located at this time.
Initial information suggests that the incident began as a disagreement that quickly escalated into a shooting. Investigators are interviewing witnesses and police are asking anyone with information on this incident to come forward.
