Urban Outfitters coming to downtown Spokane

Downtown Spokane will be welcoming a new retail store in the fall of 2016.

Centennial Properties announced a River park Square expansion plan that will feature Urban Outfitters. It will be the first and only location of the store in eastern Washington.

The store will be housed in a new 10,000 square feet two-story building on the corner of Main and Wall, across the street from Macy's.

Demolition of the current Saad building will take place this summer and Urban Outfitters is expected to open in fall 2016. To accommodate the new building, featuring a contemporary glass design, Centennial Properties is submitting an application to the City of Spokane requesting vacation of 17 feet of right of way next to the east property line on Wall Street. This includes 10 feet of sidewalk and seven feet of Wall Street, however the road will remain open for two-way traffic.
