ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) — Prosecutors charged a central Minnesota man with a gross misdemeanor Wednesday but not a hate crime for allegedly having his teenage son dump bloody deer carcasses on the hoods of two cars owned by Somali-American men.

ATHENS, Ga. - An Alabama woman says a man broke into her house and made himself breakfast, took a bath, and washed his clothes.    Mary Royster tells WAAY-TV she came home Tuesday and found a strange man who wouldn't leave -- he told her he was waiting for his clothes to dry.    Thirty-one-year-old Tyler Love is now back at the Limestone County jail on a charge of burglary. He had been released just last week after serving time for another burglary.

SEATTLE - It was a weird day for some drivers in West Seattle after a load of softball-sized steel balls spilled from the back of a truck. Footage shows the balls rolling and bouncing down the road after breaking out of a bag in the back of the truck. Several cars were hit before the balls pooled as the street leveled out. KING 5 reports it’s unclear how much damage the balls may have caused or how they got loose in the first place.

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla - As per usual, something crazy happened in Florida, but this time luckily no one was seriously hurt. A driver walked away with minor scrapes after an unsecured sheet of plywood impaled the windshield of their car. According to NBC-2, the car was traveling on I-95 when the sheet of plywood fell out of a pickup truck and pierced the windshield of the car traveling behind. 

A wedding photographer wasn't having any of it when the bride's stepmother gets in the way. Ashley Easterling was hired to capture the special moments from Josh and Lorna Gantt's wedding in Kentucky last month. Easterling says the stepmother was getting in the way and Easterling asked her politely to move. 

It's a simple video. A deer casually walks through a plastic playhouse in someone's backyard. It's actually pretty funny on its own. The deer walks through the playhouse with such purpose it's like it meant to do it.  But the short 18-second video becomes the stuff of magic when it's synced with the Phil Collins classic "In The Air Tonight" from the 1981 album Face Value.

BLADENBORO, N.C. (AP) - A woman who took in more than two dozen dogs and cats during Hurricane Florence has been charged with practicing veterinary medicine without a license. Tammie Hedges, founder of Crazy's Claws N Paws animal rescue, was arrested Friday after 27 dogs and cats were confiscated from a temporary shelter.    

A bizarre scene out of California after a man is caught on video stomping and smashing out the windows of a police SUV.  Police tried to talk the 23-year-old down from the vehicle, but he refused to get off. That's when police decided close in on the suspect and pull him down. The man was later taken to the hospital for evaluation before being booked into jail.  Police say he caused thousands of dollars in damage to the SUV. Man Smashes Police SUV

OMRO, Wis. (AP) - A Wisconsin motorist was in for a slithery surprise after his mom's sport utility vehicle began acting strangely. Chris Nguyen pulled over Wednesday night in the town of Omro and popped the SUV's hood to find a 4-foot-long python inside. Fittingly, the snake damaged the engine's serpentine belt. Omro police responded and tried to wriggle the snake from the engine.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Police in Memphis say a man stole his date's car and drove it to a date with another woman. Police say a woman reported her car stolen after Kelton Griffin went to her house to take her on a date. WMC-TV reports that Griffin stopped at a gas station and asked the woman to get him some cigars. A police report says while she was gone, he drove off in her Volvo.

Twitter user Kayla Speer shared a horrifying story on Twitter Wednesday night about how she found out her long-distance boyfriend was cheating on her. It started out innocently enough with her wanting to surprise her boyfriend of 3 months with a Jimmy John's sandwich while he was studying for finals.
