Update:

A nocturnal visitor, scary enough, but this one had a knife.

You can see him crystal clear on Kristen Tesarik's Ring doorbell camera.

But this is only the first time this strange man showed up on her doorstep.

"I wasn't home the first time," she said.

A few days went by and then on Tuesday, July 16th.

"The camera shows that he was there 8 minutes after I had gotten home," Tesarik said.

Kristen says he took a lap around her home, tried to get into her garage, and then, knife still in hand, he leaves her property.

She says she has no idea who this guy is.

"I'm hoping it's completely random," she said, "he had entered the gate with a no trespassing sign posted and he was standing there with a knife looking in the window."

If Kristen had not had cameras rolling outside capturing everything from the moment this stranger opens the gate, walks up the steps with a knife in his hand, this case would have stalled days ago.

Instead, police have something they can go off of and now this man's picture is everywhere.

"I would say anybody in the neighborhood who doesn't have cameras should make that investment because that's how we catch that guy," she said.
