SPOKANE, Wash.- Two troopers were hit by a suspected DUI driver, while responding to a separate crash on I-90 eastbound on Sunday night according to Trooper Jeff Sevigney.
One trooper was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the car that caused the crash was arrested for vehicular assault, according to authorities. The driver is suspected of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The highway was blocked off for a couple of hours between the Barker Road exit ramp and Liberty Lake Road exit.
